New Name

So the other night I was talking to Jordan and she said she wanted a new blog name so I decided I wanted a new one too! I was thinking of some names and one just stuck out to me! Following in His Footsteps because thats what I am trying to do! My favorite thing to do as I walk to classes is look up at the beautiful world God made and reflect how my life would be without Him and I find that without Him I would be nothing!!! He is amazing and my life is about following Him through it all!!! The good and the bad! I also, love knowing that if i have a really bad day that each day is new and I can start all over! It also helps to know that He is always with me guiding my life all I have to do is follow!! :)
So thats the story behind my new blog name!

Cedar Point

My campus has a group called MBC(Marbeck Center Board) where their a board who plans fun activities on the weekend!

On this weekend they were going to Cedar Point for the hollow weekends and the tickets were only 15 bucks and at first we wernt gonna go but then we decided we would but we wanted to drive separate and we could not get the tickets for 15 but we could still get a group rate price for 30! But then at the last min. they said we could get the 15 dollar tickets!! So we left Sat. at 10 to cedar point it was me adrienne,cory,peter,megan,and rachel!!! We did not get to ride much because the lines were so long! but we did get to go through the haunted stuff it was scary but fun! Afterwards we drove to Cleaveland and spent the night at Megens then drove back to school the next day!! Heres some pictures..... :)

Fall Break Horray!!

Last Friday was the start of fall break. I could barely get through my four classes I was so excited!!

Fri. I left Bluffton at 5:15 with Brooke and Lauren and got home 7ish ate yummy tachos and chilled with my family :)

Sat. I woke up thought about studying but did not then I slept pretty much all day then went to my grandmas at night

Sun. I went to church! I <3

Mon. I slept in a little then did homework then at 3 I went to the Pickle Patch to play with some of my favorite little kids!!!! Then went to Garfeilds with Beth!!! Had lots of fun!!

Tues. I woke up at 7 then did homework then went to the doctors then got my new phone :) then went out to lunch with my daddy :) then went back home finished some homework packed up my things then left to come back to Bluffton!

Teaching 101

For those of you who don't know I am in college to become a teacher.
Two weeks ago I got to start my early field experience where I get to go into the school and observe a teacher for at least 40 hours. My teachers name in Mrs. Morgan and she is a Kindergarten teacher at Liberty Elementary. She is very nice and I'm glad I get to work with her. So far I have gotten to work with small groups of children, make macaroni necklaces, read a story aloud, work one on one with testing kids on their colors and letters and more. This is making me really excited to become a teacher! What does not make me excited is my Intro to teaching class because I have a midterm in it Wed. and my professor confused me greatly and decided to add more to the test that we haven't actually covered yet but oh well that's Mr. Jones for you. He a good professor just gets too excited sometimes!! :)
