It's time for me to trust I mean really trust God. Yes, I tell myself I am going to trust God and I do for a while but as soon as something else goes wrong in my life or something turns out to be harder than I thought I stop trusting and start worrying. Well its time to stop that. It's times to give God my worries and stress over schoolwork, making and keeping friendships,my family, finding a job over the summer, and finding scholarships. Just to name a few of my worries lately. I have always been a bad worrier. And I need to stop. For real what do I have to worry about I have the Creator of the Universe on my side. He promised to never leave me nor forsake me and God always keeps his promises!! I also need to focus on the many many blessing that God has and is giving me instead of focusing on what I do not have. Its time to let the Lord my God control my life and not just part of it, all of it!! Also, its time that I give Him all my troubles for good!! I need to quit trying to take my life over when trouble comes. God knows the big picture and He is and always will be there. Honestly, when I found out that my brother had a tumor I was scared to death. I love my brother so much and he is pretty much my best friend!! But instead of knowing and trusting that God was in control and that His will is perfect I let fear control me. However, I am done being scared and I am done worrying about the little things in life and I am putting all my faith, hope, and trust in my Lord and Savior. Without Him I am nothing!!!! Also, lately I have worried about whether I am doing the will of God. I keep asking Him where He wants me but all I can do is wait patiently and trust in Him. I read in my devotions that the little voice in your head aka your conscience is really the Holy Spirit guiding you. So, if you really feel that you should be doing something and your not or vice versa I feel that is God showing us His will.

Asking for Prayer
Last weekend I went home because it was MLK weekend and even though i was suppose to go
to my roommates house for the break i went home because I had to go to the doctors because I
had an infection which is cleared up now. However, when I went home my brother was sick and
he had a bad migraine well he had this migraine for the entire weekend and finally my mom took
him to the emergency room last Sunday and they just told him he had a bad migraine and gave
him some medicine. Well he continued to have headaches every day and then my mom took him to
our family doctors and he told him he thought something was wrong and he needed tests. So, he
went and got tests done and they found a tumor behind his right eye which is causing the
migraines and also his lazy eye. They said they thought maybe he had this tumor since he was 8
years old so hes had it for 13 years maybe but because of this they do not think its cancerous. I
am trying to trust God with all this but its really hard!! I just hope he will be all right! He has an
appointment with a neurologist in March. So I would appreciate prayers for him!!

New Semester
Okay here I am in my new semester and let me tell you its going to take me awhile to get back into school again!!
These few days have felt like weeks!!!!!
I am taking five classes: Fundamental Math, Tesol(Teaching English to speakers of other languages):Theories and Issues, Understanding Numerical Data, The Biological World, and Personal and Community Health Concerns. Which I am not sure about this load yet because I am not the best at math or science but o well and I have 8 o clock classes everyday :(
Besides the fact that I get to see all my friends again I wish I was still on break but Im sure I get back into it!
I had such a wonderful break spending time with friends and family!!!! :)
I will leave you with something I read in my devotions today that really encouraged me to just keep moving foward!!!
Face forward. Real life happens in the present, and God's blessings happen now and in the future.
Accept your circumstances. God uses the difficulties of life to help you mature and grow in Him.
If you're following God, you will find Him in all your circumstances.
Trust in the Lord. God will keep you in perfect peace when your mind is focused on Him.
Hope for the future. God is a bright star who will light your path in the present darkness.

The Last Day of 2008!!
Here we are on the last day of 2008!! WOW!! 2008 just flew by!!!
I did some things in 2008 I never thought I would do. Like go on a mission trip and have the time of my life and like make it through going to college and making new friends!!!
Even though I had a lot of fun and laughter in 2008 there was still those hard times and without my Heavenly Father I would not of made it!!!
In my devotions today I read from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 where it talks about that there is a time for everything. A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal... God made a time and season for everything and we cannot do anything to change it.
Though we would rather laugh than weap, dance than mourn, and gain than lose. There is a time for weaping, mourning, and losing as well.
But do not fret because in Joshua 1:9 it says that the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go!!
Even though God doesnt stop the storms in our lives He still loves us and will help us get through them!!! and once we get through them there will be time to laugh, dance and gain again!!!
While I'm sad to see 2008 go I am ready to continue my life as God's daughter!!!
In 2009 I want to be...
an encourager
a mercy shower
a loving daughter to both my Heavenly Father and my parents
a loving and understanding sister
a listener
a friend
a student
a teacher
and much more!!!
But I need to remember "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under Heaven."
Ecclesiastes 3:1
So here I am going into 2009 Forever Following in His Footsteps!!!!

Merry Almost Christmas
Christmas is in 27 mins.!!!
With all the excitement of giving and getting I feel a lot of people forget the real meaning of Christmas I know I am guilty of this myself and there is nothing wrong with being excited about getting gifts and gving gifts but do we remember why this holiday even exsists?
God sent his son Jesus here as a baby to save me and you!! That is the greatest gift ever and I do not want to forget that!!!
Reliant K sings a song called "I Celebrate the Day" that really helps me remember what Christmas is all about. So I will leave you with the lyrics of this song.

One Exam Stands Between Me and Winter Break!!
Thats right I have four exams down and one left!!! and this semester is over!!!

Midnight/early morning food runs and walmart trips

Watching more movies then I have watched in my whole life!

That you can't always depend on someone to say hi to you if you want to say hi to them DO IT!!
